so have you guys been watching the olympics? i have, and i have been watching a lot of boxing mainly because the coverage on tv only allows me to watch boxing in the middle of the day. the coverage is terrible but thats another post. what im angry about is the scoring in olympic boxing. its archaic and arbitrary. there are human judges that have to hit a button when they “see” a landed punch to score for the boxer. the problem is all the judges have to hit the button with in something like 3 seconds to score, also they are deciding whats a landed or not landed punch, and obviously this doesnt happen correctly. ive watched so many bouts where one boxer has landed 4-5 punches and not 1 was counted. the announcers have even commented that this type of scoring isnt working. come on its time to get modern and do a different type of scoring thats more even and fair to the boxers. the winners arent really winners if its up to some jerk off pressing a button when he or she thinks they saw a punch land.
so has anybody seen those chevy aveo commercials? the one where somebody pulls up to a gas pump and they go into the station but dont by gas and the pump f’s with the car. those commercials. i hate those because if yu are not buying gas then why the hell are you taking up space at the frickin pump. no one parks at a pump if you are not getting gas. plus if you do take up a space at the pump with out buying gas you deserve to be messed with. i loose all the humor by that little parking over site. the writers suck.
hey writers just think it through a little bit and maybe you could have a better commercial. of course they arent real writers, the ad agency that is making the commercial is the writer of the commercial. ad people may have great concepts but they fail to notice lots of the little things that make commercials either great or suck.

so im not sure where this is going but im sure i dont care, it beer thirty and time you spread the word. the word is “shoot the moon!”
so just got a little flat panel tv for the back guest room/gym/office/whatever. and wanted to hang it on the wall, well the chain stores would have you believe that the only way to mount one is with a super expensive hunk o’metal. well im here to tell you they are stupid! just google wall mounts and there is a plethera of options. so you can (if you have time or are not impatient like me) order up a perfect mount for your situation. but heres the rub, i walked into circuit city today found a flush wall mount for 29.99, when i took it up to the register it rang up for 16 bucks! i mean come on, how rad is that, they didnt have a sale that i could see and no coupons. so i dont know, if live near some big chain stores it might be worth it to actually go in, it was for me.
here is the real deal though, every place has the hdmi cables for no less than $40, i found a place on line thats insanely cheap, fire fold, and i do mean cheap. a 6ft cable for $6.99, thats right you read me, $6.99! i bought 2. they have all the other cables you could ever want.
so now im home hooking everything up, wall mount easy as pie, splitting the cable to modem and cable box easy as pie(you name your fave pie), got turn on tv and blammo! damn thing blows the screen on me. now i sit and wait, while it goes back and they send me another one. well i was waiting for the hdmi cables anyway.
