well it does on sundays anyway! so we are on our way back to the west coast and had to stop in kansas for the evening, we arrived at our hotel at 7:45 pm and got checked in quickly, but the clerk failed to mention a very and i do mean very important detail, NO BEER AFTER 8pm!!!! what the holy crap is that? im mean seriously folks 8pm is a retarded time! i can see 9pm but 8? no this is wrong. its a state thing, so you cant get it anywhere and everybody that does sell is so freaked out by the gestapo that i hit a store 2 minuets after 8 and nope no way bud! but get this, bars and restaurants can sell, so what they are really doing is promoting drunk driving! ya sure you can drink but in a bar and then you can drive home and get busted cause the cops know what your doing in that bar on sunday after 8! so what about people who are visiting and dont know your stupid state customs, thats probably a hold over from some 1800 law that was ment to keep women in their place, why so i have to suffer? why cant you just check my i.d. and see that i dont live under your stupid laws! F#$@!%$#@!%$@#K! all i wanted was a pepsi and the entire state of kansas wouldnt give it to me. if you dont get the reference, too bad.
Same laws in Connecticut. It sucks! and no sales of liquor (or beer) on Sundays either. So what you do is buy a whole bunch of beer and liquor so you don’t run out. If you do run out, you have to drive to another state (drunk) and get more. I still don’t know what this proves (like you said) but it has been the law for as long as I can remember… Thank god I live in California!
